IT'S A THREE-PEAT! CREST SWIMMING WINS SWIM ONTARIO'S SMALL TEAM AWARD AT THE 2019 SPRING PROVINCIALS FOR THIRD YEAR IN A ROW

CREST took home Swim Ontario’s Small Team Award at the 2019 Spring Provincial Championships in Etobicoke, Ontario, held February 28 to March 3, 2019. This is the third year in a row CREST has won the Ontario Small Team Award which is bestowed upon the small team with the most points, which are earned by swimmers – in individual or relay events – who place in the top eight spots in competition events.

Swimmers representing CREST at the Spring Provincial Championships included: Taylor Bird, Wyatt Carling, Kelly Guan, Benjamin Loewen, Kevin Park, Lucas Park, Jake Prokosch and Frederic Yoon.

Individual medals went to: Kevin Park (winner of the boys 16 year old high point award), who was Provincial Champion in the 200 Breast, 400 IM, 200 Back and 200IM, and won silver in the 200 Fly and bronze for 100 Back and 100 Fly; Benjamin Loewen (category: male, aged 15) who was Provincial Champion for 400IM, 200 Fly and 200IM and won bronze in 200m Back and 100 Fly; and Lucas Park (category: male, aged 14) who won silver in 50 Free and bronze in 100 Free. Rounding out the boys 15&U relay team with Ben and Lucas were Jake Prokosch and Frederic Yoon who took silver in the 200 Meter Free Relay.
