OI! OI! OI! OYJ CREST SWIMMING WINS SMALL TEAM AWARD AT 2019 ONTARIO YOUTH JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

CREST took home another Swim Ontario Small Team Award at the Ontario Youth Junior Championship held March 7-10 at the Markham Pan Am Pool. The award recognizes small teams of 50 or fewer athletes who earn the most points – in individual or relay events – by placing in the top eight spots in competition events.

Swimmers representing CREST at the Ontario Youth Junior Championship included: Adam Bayley, Michael Bayley, Taylor Bird, Wyatt Carling, Samantha Chalmers, Kelly Guan, Cezar Hirsescu, Quezon Mineque, Jake Prokosch, Bronwyn Remus, Amilia Skula, Ashley Tinney, Tomi Tufford and Frederic Yoon

Individual medals went to:
Kelly Guan: Gold in 100m freestyle and Bronze in 200 I.M.
Cezar Hirsescu: Gold in 800m and 1500m free and Silver in 400m free
Quezon Mineque: Silver in 50m freestyle
Frederic Yoon: Gold in 50m and 100m free, Gold in 100m breast; and Bronze in 200IM
The Boys 15&O 400 Meter Medley Relay Team won Bronze with Adam Bayley, Frederic Yoon, Michael Bayley and Jake Prokosch.
