BIG WEEKEND FOR CREST AS TEAM WINS BACK-TO-BACK SMALL TEAM AWARD AT ONTARIO YOUTH JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS (OYJs) AND 2020 WINTER ONTARIO SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS (OSCs)

It was a back-to-back winning weekend for CREST as the team won Small Team Awards at both the 2020 Winter Ontario Swimming Championships (OSCs) at Markham’s Pan Am Pool (March 5-8) and the Ontario Youth Junior Championships (OYJs) also held at Markham’s Pan Am Pool (March 5-8).

Swim teams with fewer than 50 athletes are eligible for the Small Team Award which goes to the team whose swimmers have placed in the top 8 and amassed the most points for individual and relay events. Congratulations to Tomi Tulford, Kelly Guan, Jack Loewen and Cezar Hirsescu for their medal-winning swims at the OYJs; and to Sophia Lee, Kevin Park and Q Mineque for their medals at OSCs.

This marks the third time in the last two weeks that CREST has won a Swim Ontario Small Team Award and all swimmers should be congratulated for their outstanding achievement and contribution to the latest banners to hang at Crescent Town Pool.
